I think I was channeling the spirt of JT Abernathy when I built it Cindy. :)

My "Tinkertoy" Slab Slab Cavas Drying/Storage RackPVC
« Reply #1 on: November 16, 2015, 04:10:14 PM »

I needed a canvas drying rack for my 18" Bailey Slab Roller that was portable and could break down easily when I needed to reorganize space temporarily for projects. I figured it needed to be all off the rack  parts and with pressure fitting like a tinker toy to work. Basicly, it's built out of PVC pipe and fittings. There are a couple of commonly sized wooden dowels only to see if they could fit the pvc  system  and a cheap wire shelving rack for desktops. Luckily I had most everything I needed on hand except for the copper plumbing pipe brackets on the sides and a few hooks  BTW the copper brackets are for the "Fudge Factor" since copper is a soft metal and will give a bit if things are a tad off. This rack is designed to fit under my folding  plastic work table
